The TECNOTSAV 2017, Technical Symposium 2017 was organized by Bachelors of Computer Application Department in Collaboration with of Computer Science and Engineering Department on 16th Nov, 2017. General chair Person: Dr. A.K. Sharma, Program Chairperson: Dr. Pawan Bhadana made the ceremony a successful event. The technical fest was a high-spirited occasion to spotlight the extraordinary skills, inspire the innovative ideas and highlight the charismatic identity of our students. This event gave the students a platform to flaunt their technical skills at a decent level in an ambitious scenario. There were an exciting list of excellent and impressive events such as coding, gaming, exhibitions and many more, planned in order to bring out and present the best of the capabilities of our aspiring undergraduates. Technotsav’17 was the ideal supper for everybody as it gave a limelight to every thinker, innovator, and creator.
Students from our department as well as various other departments also took part and also won prizes and certificates in events like Tech-feed, Success Ladder, Blind Coding, Code Master, Web designing, Tech-Roadies and Tech-Rangoli and many other such exciting and interesting events. In BCA Department BCA 3rd year student Shubham Shrivastav won the second prize for the project “KBC” developed by using Visual Basic technology. Other projects like “Gun Shooting”, “Battle Field” and many more were developed by our students under the knowledgeable guidance of our faculty members. Events were coordinated by our faculty members and student coordinators which led to a smooth and successful affair.
Besides a smooth sailing, a perfect start is a must. One such perfect start is our Orientation Program.
“Unleash Your Talents and Strive to a Great Start”
The ORIENTATION PROGRAMME 2017 draws close to a student as he/she gains exposure to a dynamic spectrum of activities in the new Academic Session which was organized on the 16th August 2017.
The freshers of every department truly got to familiarize with the Institution, thanks to the Orientation programme that was organized with the commencement of the Academic Session of 2017.
The students were welcomed by our Director Sir Dr. S.S. Tyagi and were enlightened about the Institution its achievements and motivated students to build an objective in life to take steps to achieve that goal.
The students were then enlightened by our Student Transformation and Enhancement Programme( STEP) by Mr. Arif khan and his team. The STEP Programme includes additional soft skills and language courses that are added in every semester of the student Curriculum so as to focus on personality development and technical knowledge of every individual student.
This was followed by Activities like “Tree Plantation Programme” by every department students.
The program came to a successful end with the students served with lunch.
“Don’t wait for the opportunity to knock, open the door yourselves”
Seeing and hearing someone explaining a process greatly improves understanding and so was the Spoken Tutorial Project by IIT Bombay for MHRD, Government of India, aiming at programming languages, office tools, graphics and circuit design tools via. audio/video tutorials. Such Faculty Development Programs (FDP) held at our college for a staff of Bachelor of Computer Application and Computer Science and Engineering Departments. The Spoken Tutorial project is the initiative to the ‘Talk to a Teacher’ activity of the National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology (ICT), launched by the Ministry of Human Resources and Development, Government of India, to popularize software development. This was beneficial for students also that started in 2012 with the help of Ms. Neha Bansal. It provides them training sessions according to which online tests are held to test the skills of students.
Many of our students participated in the Online C Test that was conducted remotely at the institution by Mr. Ashok Sharma on 7th November 2016 with the course material provided by the ‘Talk to a Teacher’ project at IIT Bombay. The students completed the training process and were awarded a Certificate of Completion of the C Language training process.

“International Conference 2015” Concerning the creativity and expansion of the technological fields and ever increasing necessity to exchange ideas and new methodologies, Department of Bachelors of Computer Application in collaboration with the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at BSAEI organized BSACON’15, an International Conference on Recent Trends in Computer and Information Technology Research on 25-26 September, 2015 in association with International Journal of Computing Academic Research, Jordon which aimed to provide forum for researchers and practitioners interested in research. The programme was inaugurated by Dr. S.S Tyagi (Director, BSAEI), Mr. Tapesh Gupta(Vice-Chairman, BSAEI), Dr. A.K. Sharma(Dean, PG study and research) followed by honorable Dr. J.P Gupta(Vice-Chancellor, Lingaya’s University), Dr. Naseeb Singh Gill(Professor, MDU Rohtak), Dr. M.N Hooda(Director, Bharti Vidyapeeth Delhi) and Dr. Basim Alhadidi (Professor, Albalqa University Jordan). These dignitaries along with their respected staff and a panel of students presented their valuable Research Papers making the international conference a flawless and excellent perfect program with some 100+ research papers presented and submitted. Research papers were presented by our most learned faculty members Mr. Prem Sagar Sharma(Asst. Professor), Mr. Shravan Tyagi(Asst. Professor) and many more.
“Make the most of every Oppurtunity”
Students from the Bachelors of Computer Application Department have a habit to prove their worth everywhere whether it’s any Intra-college competition or an Inter-college competition or events. Our 3rd year students Karan Gulati and Shubham Srivastav have participated in a State Level Event held on 16th September 2017. The event was a State level QUIZ COMPETITION held at the D.A.V. Centenary College, Faridabad organized by the Technicia Club. The students got the Third Position among many colleges that participated in the event.
