The Internet has become one of the best inventions of the 21st Century. It is even difficult to imagine how life would be in the absence of the “Internet”. So likewise, without Web sites, the World Wide Web would be nothing. A website is comprised of web pages. So we jump to a conclusion that, without webpage,’s the internet would be empty and without any information.

In the basic essence of our day-to-day lives, whether we are talking about Banking, Shopping, Window Shopping, Searching the Most relevant information is just a few clicks away, which means browsing millions of Content on our small Screen. Therefore, for that what is essential is to have web pages in order to find relevant information for our queries.

In B. S. Anangpuria Institute of Technology & Management at our department of Computer Science & Engineering, we start our student with basic Essence of designing of Web, which includes developing websites, which is the objective of, or Web Designing Lab.

The Web Designing Lab comprises of a couple of Sections and Practicals, which provides the students with all the fundamental and necessary skills to design and deploy Dynamic Websites on the Web.

Initially we start with the brief introduction to WWW and making students familiar with the main objective of our Lab of “What are web pages”,” Importance of web pages”, “how are they designed”, “What are Static and Dynamic WebPages” and “what are the prerequisite for designing a webpage”.

In the First part we start with HTML(Hypertext Markup Language) and some tags essential for developing a static webpage.HTML is a markup language that is the basic foundation for developing web pages. HTML is a form of programming language that is used to make web pages on the internet viewable. Therefore, it can be said that it is because of HTML web pages are interesting to look at. Without HTML, a browser would not know how to display text as elements, load images, or other elements.

The Second part interest the student a lot as they learn how to create tables, lists and other attractive elements in web pages. Also, add images, image maps, hyperlinks, and frames in order to make their page look more attractive and interesting.

The Thirds Part is inclined towards learning CSS(Cascading Stylesheets) and JavaScript. These two are programming languages, which lay a foundation for building up of Dynamic HTML pages. CSS is used to define styles for your web pages, including the design, layout, and variations in a display for different devices and screen sizes.JavaScript is a programming language used primarily by Web browsers to create a dynamic and interactive experience for the user. It makes the web pages interactive for the user.

These Practicals provides Bachelors of Computer Application Students the First Building block to build up their own Web pages as per their requirement.

Things do not stop here, with the help of such an exercise, students are also able to develop their own dynamic websites and include a number of web pages in it. As a result, their developed websites are interactive as well as attractive for a person to view.

We at Department of Bachelors of Computer Application make sure that our student attending these Labs not only get enlightened with all necessary information and knowledge but also be able to deploy their knowledge and skills in their day-to-day lives.
