As stated by Mr. Isaac Asimov he said “I do not fear computers. I fear the lack of them”.

In today’s 21st Century Computer has become the basic essence of our Life, whether we talk about Banking, Shopping, Searching the Web for the most relevant information which is just a few clicks away or browsing millions of information on our small screens. That’s the story of our present and future generations.

In B. S. Anangpuria Institute of Technology & Management at our department of Bachelors of Computer Application, we start with making the student familiar with basic Fundamental information about a personal computer in our Personal Computer Lab.

The Personal Computer Lab contains a couple of Sections and Practical programs which furnishes the undergraduates with all the fundamental and necessary skills to employ a man-made machine on fingertips.

The First part familiarizes the student with PC Hardware. It starts with the student learning about computer hardware like Keyboard, mouse, CPU and their different parts. It compromises of a student learning a lot about the assembly and disassembly of Personal computers. In this Part, students are also exposed to the Floppy disk drive, Hard disk, and CD ROM drive. Many of such latest and updated information and knowledge about the building block of Personal Computers are imparted to the students.
The Hardware section covers all the details and aspects of assembling a personal Computers and Shares all the necessary information; How all the Hardware parts in personal computers are communicating together.

The Second Part that we start with is PC Software, which deals with the most basic and essential Software i.e. Microsoft Office suite which is an essential collection of desktop applications. It comprises of three parts which share the details of all its application; Microsoft Word, Microsoft Powerpoint, Microsoft Excel.

MS Word is a popular word-processing program used primarily for creating documents such as letters, brochures, learning activities, tests, quizzes and students’ homework assignments. There are many simple but useful features available in Microsoft Word to make it easier for study and work.

PowerPoint is the most popular presentation program which allows users to create, edit and show beautiful presentations with the help of slides. The user can combine the text, graphics, and multimedia to support a presentation.Creating a PowerPoint presentation is an important process from the businessman’s an entrepreneur’s point of view.

Microsoft Excel has become the most-used spreadsheet program in the world. Excel can perform formula-based calculations and many other mathematical functions.
The Software part covers all the details about how our Computer work and the Microsoft Office suite which includes its various functions and applications.

The Practical Conducted in our Labs help in learning of technicalities and lead towards the final goal which can be a word file, Presentation or an Excel sheet with an essential training of need in our today’s world.
